Unit of Measurement
In ERP applications, the unit of measurement can be configured according to the business needs of the company, for example, in weight, volume, length, or quantity units. Additionally, ERP applications can also provide the ability to convert measurement units, allowing users to change the measurement units used in business transactions as needed.
Setup
To complete the UoM information, click on the Static Data/Inventory Menu/Unit. The system will then display a menu like the one in image 3.5.1:
- In the Code field, type the desired unit code.
- In the Name field, type the name of the unit of measurement to be registered.
- Press the Save button to save the created data.
