Zone

For companies engaged in goods distribution, a sales territory-based management approach (zoning) is of utmost importance. Through a zoning approach, the effectiveness of sales area coverage can be increased. By creating a good regional mapping, determining delivery route designs, and organizing canvassing, companies can maximize customer potential and reach all markets within a specific area.

Another crucial need is managing cost management more effectively and accurately. With regional zoning, companies will have clearer standard activities. Activities such as goods delivery, customer visits, customer surveys, and other visits will be more measurable and directed. SOFICloud provides a customer zoning feature.

Setup

Click on the Static Data/ General/ Zone menu, and the system will display a form as shown in image 3.1.4:

  1. In the Code field, type the zone code you want to register or leave it blank, and the system will automatically assign a numbering to the country name you will register.
  2. In the Zone field, type the name of the zone you wish to register.
  3. In the Set as default check box, click if you want that zone to be the default zone.
  4. Press the save button to save the created data.
